Since 1943, the ARA has represented an industry dedicated to the efficient removal and reuse of automotive parts, and the safe disposal of inoperable motor vehicles. With more than 2,000 direct and associate members as well as 3,500 other companies through 50 Affiliate Chapters in 19 countries worldwide, ARA is the voice of the international automotive recycling industry. The association is also the only organization standardizing the quality of service in the industry through its Certified Automotive Recyclers program and the Gold Seal program.
