Detailed Information:
Using a comprehensive catchment plan, developed in consultation with teh community, the Patawalonga and Torrens Catchment Water Management Boards provide a program of: physical works (including trash racks, wetlands and waterway restoration), Community education programs (including school programs, media advertising-'waterCare', community education, 'Our Patch'), and planning (including development of planning reports, water quality monitoring, development assesment). The Boards' activities are funded by a levee on property owners. Community education programs include the waterCare musical, the WaterCare puppet show, Kesab Clean waters and Our Patch.
