Forest Service Employees for Environmental Ethics
Despite the name, membership is open to anyone interested in ecologically sound management of public lands. FSEEE publishes a magazine, investigates FS practices - timber sales, land swaps, grazing permits, mining, etc. It also cooperates with local groups and provides educational assistance.

Detailed Information:
FSEEE includes current, former and retired employees of the US Forest Service. It seeks to improve the management of Federal lands by ending economicallly and ecologically unsound practices. It supports employees (from the Head of the Service to local foresters)who make ecologically sound decisions like subsidized clearcutting, overgrazing and destructive mining. FSEEE also seeks to improve public understanding of forest ecology and of the educational and recreational value of public lands.
