The Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life (COEJL) engages Jewish institutions and individuals in bringing the moral passion of Jewish tradition and social action to environmental stewardship in order to advance social justice, protect future generations, preserve the integrity of creation, and strengthen the Jewish community. COEJL publishes educational materials, an internet site and lists, and a newsletter; organizes an annual national leadership conference; sponsors regional affiliates in over a dozen communities around North America; and serves as the voice of the Jewish community on environmental issues in Washington, DC. COEJL is a coalition of 27 national Jewish organizations and the Jewish member of the National Religious Partnership for the Environment.
