Irish Woodworkers for Africa (IWFA) was founded in September 1989, inresponse to global deforestation and wood wastage. IWFA supports the concept ofsustainable development and the wise use of natural resources - in particularwood. Through education and awareness projects, IWFA endeavour to influenceGovernments and the Corporate sector of the need for a sensible and balancedapproach to forest utilisation and wood usage.
