The Mojave Desert Ecosystem Program is a joint development data warehouse maintained by the Department of Defense and the Department of the Interior. It contains GIS (Geographic Information Systems) data for the Mojave Ecosystem. By jointly sharing scientific, natural and cultural resources, unnecessary spending on redundant projects is avoided. The program is the first joint agency task between the DOD and the DOI.
