Detailed Information:
The Water Education Foundation (WEF) was formed in 1977 to develop and implement education programs leading to a broader understanding of water issues and to the resolution of water problems. Due to strong leadership and an increasing need for information on pressing water controversies, WEF has created outreach programs that include water tours, briefings, classroom programs, computer games, maps and television documentaries. The goal of each of these activities is to educate the public, while encouraging involvement, support and interest in discovering long lasting solutions for water problems.
