The VivaVegie Society is a vegetarian advocacy group which was formedin 1991. Since it began, it has served as an educational organization for the cause of vegetarianism. The street advocacy for which the society has become known has remained effective because of its consistent utilization of creative methods of outreach. Members/advocates go out regularly to any place they can find a lot of pedestrian traffic to spread the word about the vegetarian way of life to which they feel they owe so much.
