Detailed Information:
Since 1957, SCA has served as a matchmaker between service-minded citizens and public and private land/resource managing agencies that have needs for assistance with important conservation projects beyond their staffing levels. In partnership with the National Park Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, US Forest Service, and many other agencies, SCA establishes and recruits for more than 1,500 volunteer positions, with most expenses paid, annually. Positions are available for high school students, college students, and other adults, and vary in length from four weeks to a year. There is no tuition or participation fee.
