There are combined programs in Geography and Earth Sciences leading to a B.Sc. Major or Honours. Information about course combinations suited to specific professional objectives and graduate programs is available from the Department. Many of our courses and programs are directly relevant to working with environmental issues. We integrate several techniques courses (Geographic Information Systems, Remote Digital Sensing Cartography, Statistics) and physical geography courses (biogeography, geomorphology, climatology and pedology) in our approaches to environmental problem-solving.
