Detailed Information:
The Corporate Conservation Council was formed in 1982 by the National Wildlife Federation in order to foster dialogue amoung the Federation and Fortune 500 companies. It has grown to be a collaborative forum for advancing the Federation`s conservation advocacy with senior business executives by helping companies find new ways to improve their environmental performance, sharing information on successful environmental programs, encouraging conservation education, and embarking on community-focused activities. The Council`s projects include: Workplace Habitat Program, Tradeable Assest for Sustainable Communities, and Sustainable Development Education: Future Business Leaders Project.
