Hi there, I am currently a Business Psychology student at Heriot- Watt University in Scotland. I have created a survey looking at the relationship between sustainability and belief in a just world (i.e., good things happen to good people and bad to bad).
Little research has taken place in regards to this topic and I would love to find out the views of people who care greatly about the environment!

One point you seem to have missed. Life is not and never will be fair nor just The world will never be fair nor just. People can try to act in a fair or just manner but that is the limit of fairness or justice. Just ask any parent who has lost a child to an incurable disease or an accident how fair or just they think the world is.

This totally turned me off to taking the quiz.

The aim of the study is to determine if having a belief in a ‘just-world’ will influence the buying intentions of sustainable products by consumers, using essential and luxury products as a influencing factor."

Products are not sustainable, and neither is consumption. "Buying intentions" is another clue.
