What are authorities gonna do? Throw poor animals to a volcano?

Hi, My name is Genevieve and I currently live in Melbourne, Australia. I've never participated in a forum before. A friend of mine is volunteering at Dingo's Dog & Cat Sanctuary on a little barren island off the coast of Spain called Tenerife. The sanctuary has approximately 100 abandoned and sick dogs and cats they are giving asylum. Yesterday there was a court ruling that has resulted in them. Being told they have 5 days to move all the animals and infrastructure off the land. They have nowhere to go and very little money. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the authorities want to give the sanctuary some support and space to do their work? The volunteers are eating one meal a day and working very hard, all unpaid. They have a FB page if anyone would like to check them out. |
