It seems the worst scum of the Earth and enemies of the environment have invaded this site with ongoing spambot attacks. I have seen other enviro sites also ruined the same way. The worthless scumbags don't care about the Earth or people and living things on it, only about screwing up sites with overboard attacks. They are anti-environmental to say the least, and I sure hope the attacks can be stopped---soon!!! ]

How about stopping new registration temporarily - for a short duration?

It's pretty much one source, which is really odd. I guess there are people in china who are paid to sit around and do this. Very odd.

Another numerical one today. Perhaps user names that have too many numbers or nonsense letters should be programed to not be allowed. This one even penetrated a closed form, "Changing Things Up".

I just upgraded the site, supposedly it has new anti-spam features to keep this type of stuff out. Unfortunately, I think we're dealing with actual people sitting in a spam sweatshop somewhere, which will defeat almost any blocks you put up.

We'll keep trying to fight the good fight.
