There is a problem with municipal sewage on the large scale not being usable for compost due to the contamination by heavy metals and other health risks.

But if the sewage has to be incinerated the use of the ash is still better than not using it.
Still, incineration flies in the face of the necessity of cutting HGHGs 90% ASAP, to prevent runaway methane releases, and even a worse fate than the inevitable crash by 2050. It is illogical to go the route of extinction of our own species along with most others.
