Scenario: I log in and have unread messages. I go to a specific folder, animal concerns for instance, and I see the threads with unread messages. I click a few, but not all, leaving some threads unread.

Now let's say I log or time out at this point, only to return later. The previously unread threads have now been marked as read. I tested this today using the refresh button on the browser. A couple of threads I left with new messages were instantly marked read.
